Extrusion blow moulding is a highly efficient process used to manufacture hollow plastic containers. Plastic granules (HDPE, HMWPE, LDPE, PP, PVC, E-PET) are melted and extruded to form a parison (hollow tube), which is then fed into a cooling mould. By blowing in air, the parison expands and adheres to the surface of the mould and is finally moulded into the desired product shape.
